The Havering Resident's Association (HRA) have unveiled plans to grow Romford's population by an additional 25,000 by 2041.
This proposal, put forward in the HRA Romford Masterplan, was rejected by Conservatives when in administration. After years of criticising the Conservatives for not producing the Masterplan, the HRA have spent £200,000 to resurrect this unsuitable proposal.
We believe that this plan should be rejected, in favour of a proposal that recognises Romford's heritage. Our town cannot cope with another 25,000 residents. This overcrowding must stop!
Stop Overcrowding Romford is a campaign calling on the HRA to scrap this Masterplan proposal and to work with the people of Romford to produce something truly suitable.
If you agree that Romford cannot sustain another 25,000 people then please sign out petition, to stop Romford overcrowding.
